The period for a simple pendulum does not depend on the mass or the initial anglular displacement, but depends only on the length L of the string and the value of the gravitational field strength g. The simple pendulum equation is:
  T = 2π * √L/g
Where:
T: Period of the simple pendulum
L: Length of the pendulum
g: g: Acceleration due to gravity, the standard gravity of Earth is 9.80665m/s2

The velocity at the bottom of the swing is:
  v = √2g * L * (1-cos(a))
Where:
v: The velocity at the bottom of the pendulum
a: The angle from the vertical

The Maxium height is:
  h = L - L * cos(a)

The system energy is:
  E = m * v2 / 2
Where:
E: System energy
m: Mass of the object
v: The velocity at the bottom of the pendulum
