8. WHO recommends diagnostic testing for all people with suspected malaria before treatment is administered.

9. Although it would not be a sole solution to the malaria problem, it would be a useful additional weapon, they say.

10. It is why the WHO is running pilots in three countries to see if a full malaria vaccine programme could be started.
